Stories

Three men,
years apart

Three men Jordan has worked with, and what changed over years rather than over a weekend. Where each of them started, and where each of them is now.

Transformation stories

Josh Lanphear

Five years, not one weekend.

Where he started

A lawyer in his mid-thirties who read as successful from the outside and felt the opposite from the inside. Overweight, unhappy, and quietly certain the life he was building was not the one he wanted.

What changed

Over about five years he rebuilt his health, ended a relationship that was heading somewhere he did not want to go, left law, and trained as a men's coach. He now leads alongside Jordan at The Mandate.

Spencer

The marriage was the thing he thought he was losing.

Where he started

First spoke with Jordan from a hotel room. He was out of his house, his marriage was close to over, and three kids were in the middle of it.

What changed

His marriage recovered. He moved his family abroad for six months, then settled them in San Diego, and he now shows up as a steady presence for other men doing the same work.

Daniel D.

Rebuilt at home first, then everywhere else.

Where he started

Came in after his marriage fell apart in the most humiliating way he could imagine, and took his confidence with it.

What changed

He rebuilt trust at home and got his health back. He was promoted more than once in his engineering career and is now building a business of his own. His son gets to watch his parents in love rather than in pieces.

Your turn

Where yours
starts

Every one of these arcs started the same way: a room of men, and a decision to stop doing it alone.

The Summit is four days in Austin. FRATERNITY is the ongoing brotherhood that carries the work through the rest of the year.
