Jordan Bowditch runs men's events and an ongoing brotherhood out of Austin, Texas. He is a facilitator and an emcee, and he is unusually direct about the fact that this work is supposed to be enjoyable.

The story
Sigma Chi at San Diego State, then a marketing degree, then six years as a national educator at Bulletproof Nutrition. He has been building men's work for about five years, and he has been in the wider space for two decades.
Most men's retreats are earnest and dull, or they are fun and shallow. Jordan's position is that depth and enjoyment are not a trade-off, and that a weekend built as though they are will produce neither.
In the space of a few weeks he lost his dog, learned his son had Down syndrome, and then held his son for the hour he lived. He does not tell that story for sympathy. He tells it because it is the reason he refuses to run a room that helps men skip past grief rather than go into it.
He is married to Alexa, with whom he runs Sex and Love Co. Biggie James Smalls, the blue-nosed pit bull he got after college, runs through most of the story.
