What happens

The shape of
the four days

There are signature moments not described here, because the point of them is that you do not see them coming. This is the rest of it.
  1. The 36-hour fast

We enjoy a ‘Last Supper’ together, then stop eating in solidarity for a day and a half. Food is the buffer most men use to not feel anything. Take it away and whatever's underneath gets loud FAST.

  2. Breaking it together

Mansal Denton, my sacred hunting homie, breaks the fast with us in ceremony, honoring the source of your nourishment. Then we eat one of the best meals of your life, praise GAWD.

  3. Down into the body

Breathwork, bioenergetics, sauna and cold plunge and MORE. We hit the body first - not the brain - because your meat suit is the TEMPLE where pain, power and possibility really reside.

  4. Down into the raw dawg realness

    World-class workshops with certified badasses.

Liberation through radical honesty. Saying the quiet part out loud. Expressing what you’ve repressed and exercising the issues in your tissues.

  5. Up into competition, celebration and preparation

This is where the brotherhood becomes BROfficial. Conscious kink SEXploration. The BROlympics. Mastermind think tanks with business gurus and expert performance coaches.

  6. The BROlympics

Competition, comedy and the part of the weekend that reminds you men are supposed to enjoy each other.

  7. Mastermind think tanks

Small groups of high-level men working on what each man actually came to solve.

The arc

  • DownInto the body. Breathwork, bioenergetics and somatic practice to move what is stuck.

  • DownInto the primal. The anger and the sadness you've been outrunning, and the dark shit you've never said to anyone, finally said out loud to men you deeply respect and implicitly trust.

  • UpInto clarity and action. Competition, celebration and the plan you actually take home.

Who this is for

Read this
before you book

The room is only as good as who is in it, so this part is deliberately blunt.

This is for you if

  • You are done pretending and ready to be straight with a room full of men.
  • You will feel the low end so you can access the high end.
  • You accept that isolation is the slowest way to change anything.
  • You are ready to invest in this now rather than after the next crisis.

Do not come if

  • You are not willing to be honest, with yourself or the group.
  • You have it all figured out already.
  • You will not check your ego or follow another man's lead.
  • You want to be the one fixing everyone else instead of doing your own work.
  • You want a feel-good weekend rather than a change you have to live with.

Before you register

The terms

Stated here rather than buried at the payment step.
  • Food is included for the days the group is eating.
  • Lodging is not included.
  • What is said in the room stays in the room. Every man present agrees to that.

Health and participation

The Summit includes extended fasting, breathwork, high-intensity training, sauna and cold-plunge work. It is not therapy or medical care. Participation is voluntary, and you may opt out of any element. Speak with a qualified clinician before registering if you have a health condition, take medication or are unsure whether fasting, exertion, heat or cold exposure is safe for you.

The Mandate is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number. In the United States, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Questions

The obvious
questions

Where is the Summit held?

Austin, Texas.

What does registration cost?

General admission is $2,000. Food is included for the days the group is eating; lodging is not included.

Is lodging included?

No. Food is included for the days the group is eating, and you arrange your own room.

Do I really have to fast for 36 hours?

The group fasts together for a day and a half and breaks it in ceremony. It is the spine of the descent, and it is also your body. If fasting is not safe for you, say so before you register and you will be looked after another way.

Is this therapy?

No. It is men's work, facilitated by practitioners, in a confidential room. It is not a substitute for therapy, medical care or crisis support.

Who is actually going to be there?

Twelve guides lead the four days, and the Summit page lists every one of them with the session they bring.

What happens after the four days?

Most men who stay changed do it with ongoing brotherhood. FRATERNITY is where that continues, with direct enrollment into the annual membership.
